Everyday Ethics for Our Community: Giving Back

On day four of Ethics Week, we want to highlight the choices our employees make every day to live our values for our communities by being good neighbors.

Our employees make the choice to get involved in volunteer opportunities and give back through our charitable giving program. We’re proud of the partnerships that we’ve developed in the communities in which we live and work. Here are two recent examples where employees chose to show up and make a positive impact for our communities:

  • Employees from our Phoenix Business Units and HQ volunteered with Vincent de Paul for a National Neighborhood Promise® day of service on May 17, where teams prepped and served meals to families experiencing food insecurity.
  • Employees from our Philadelphia BU volunteered with Rebuilding Together Philadelphia and Impact Services to support the Hope in the Heart of Kensington project for a National Neighborhood Promise® day of service in April. Teams worked on neighborhood revitalization efforts and a grant was awarded to fund several needs in the community.
