Habitat For Humanity Heritage Build Focuses on Asian American & Pacific Islander Community in Dallas

Republic Services volunteers partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Dallas in honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The team spent the day constructing interior walls for a future home recipient. Funded by a National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, the volunteer event brought together members of the AAPI community for a celebration along with traditional food and entertainment. Local artist Ms. Yoonsoo Nam also provided a mural specifically designed for the event.
