2025 GMC & ROAD-EO INFORMATION


General Management Conference (GMC) and ROAD-EO National Championship
February 16-19, 2025 |  Phoenix, AZ

Welcome to the 2025 Republic Services General Management Conference (GMC) and ROAD-EO National Championship. The GMC brings together leaders from across the company for an impactful and inspirational event to learn about and connect to our strategy, priorities and one another. The event includes our ROAD-EO National Championship, which celebrates our top drivers, operators and technicians who have proven to be the “best of the best” based on local qualifying events.

Important event details, including the agenda and arrival and transportation information, are included below. This page will be updated frequently as the event approaches, so please bookmark and refer back for more information.

ARRIVAL & TRANSPORTATION DETAILS
If traveling by air
, upon arrival at Sky Harbor International Airport, please proceed to the baggage claim area and look for the attendant holding a Republic Services sign. Blue Star Transportation will have your flight information and will be looking for you.

If driving, please arrive at the Sheraton Grand (5594 W Wild Horse Pass Blvd) by 4:30pm to register. You can either valet or self-park. Rawhide Event Ground parking is limited and all GMC participants are required to ride the bus to the ROAD-EO National Championship. Personal vehicles without a special parking pass will not be allowed.

Note: Those Phoenix area attendees who have been notified by email that they are staying at the Gila River Resort should complete event registration at the Sheraton Grand prior to checking into the Gila River Resort (5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd). Looping shuttles will be available to take you back to the Sheraton Grand to attend the Welcome Reception.

If you are unsure of where you are staying, a confirmation email will be sent on Wednesday, February 12, or email GMC@RepublicServices.com.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE
Refer to the agenda above for suggestions related to each event. General guidance is as follows:

    • GMC Daytime Events: nice jeans, polos and casual dresses/skirts
    • GMC Awards Dinner: dressy evening attire, including dresses or nice pants/blouses for women and jackets and dress pants for men (ties not required)
    • ROAD-EO Competition and Awards Dinner: casual, including jeans, polos and shorts
    • Average temperatures in Phoenix are in the low 70s during the day and 40s at night/early morning during this time of year so you may want to pack a lightweight jacket and dress in layers
    • The ROAD-EO National Championship will take place rain or shine

BREAKOUT SESSION PREWORK
To make the most of our time together, the breakout sessions require prework. Prior to attending, please ensure you have completed all items and are prepared for the day. For additional information on how to complete the prework, please review the information shared in the breakout session prework email, sent on Wednesday, January 29.

GMC CONTENT SHARING
We are excited for you to join us as we meet to reflect on our accomplishments, align our priorities, and share information on our strategy. Some of the information that will be shared is confidential and should not be shared with others, including your teams, until the appropriate time. The Corporate Communications team will use post-event communications and the GMC Cascade to provide guidance on when information should be shared more broadly. HEALTH & WELLNESS CONSIDERATIONS
Your safety is our number one priority, and we encourage you to monitor your health before traveling. If you’re feeling unwell, please do not travel or attend any of the events.

Also, please note that the awards programs may include use of special effects lighting, fog machines and music. Please take precautions or notify the Communications team if you have sensitivities.
