Wearing is Caring

We’re calling on each of you to wear a mask to help slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Both the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that people wear face masks in public. COVID-19 mainly spreads from person to person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, or raises their voice (shouting, chanting or singing). CDC studies show that a significant portion of individuals infected with COVID-19 don’t have symptoms and that even those who eventually develop symptoms can transmit the virus to others before showing symptoms. It’s possible to be infected and transmitting the virus – and not even know it!

Wearing a face mask will help protect people around you, including your coworkers. We ask that all employees wear a face mask at work when you are around others and not able to keep your distance.

Other safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 include frequent hand-washing and social distancing. Also, if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who has symptoms, notify your supervisor and stay home
