The Environmental Solutions team at Wayne Disposal, our hazardous waste facility in Belleville, MI, partnered with city and county agencies, local HAZMAT teams, first responders, and Michigan State Police for a mock emergency exercise simulating a highway accident involving a hazardous waste spill.
The training gave responders valuable hands-on experience managing an on-site incident. Our team supported the exercise by providing equipment and deploying Emergency Response teams from Ohio and Michigan to assist with the staged cleanup.
