UNIDOS BRG Kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month with Dallas Heritage Build!

Republic Services volunteers partnered once again with the Dallas area Habitat for Humanity in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month for their Hispanic Heritage Build event. Local Republic Services employees and the UNIDOS Business Resource Group leadership team spent the day at the organization’s “Wall Shop,” constructing interior walls and painting murals for future home recipients.

UNIDOS, our Business Resource Group dedicated to supporting our Hispanic and Latino American community, attended the event to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations at Republic Services. Funded by a National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, the volunteer event brought together members of the local Hispanic community, showcasing their vibrant culture, warm hospitality, and diverse artistic expressions.

The event was not just a success; it was a show of unity, support, and a shared vision of a better, more inclusive Dallas,” said UNIDOS Chair, Ralph S.
