Every week Zara waits for Republic Services to come by her house so she can wave to the driver. She’ll yell out, “The garbage man is here!” just to make sure EVERYONE in the house knows!
Thanks to Ops Supervisor Miguel M. and the Chula Vista team for making sure Zara’s 5th birthday was one she’ll never forget! On the big day, Zara heard the truck coming and ran outside to wave. She was surprised to see not just one truck, but FOUR trucks, and they were stopping in front of her house! Our wonderful team sang happy birthday to Zara and presented her with gift basket full of Republic Services swag. She was so excited! And before they all went back to work, she gave them all fist bumps so they would be safe.
