When Ops Manager Anthony B. and his team learned that one of Republic Services’ biggest fans had a birthday coming up, they planned a special surprise. They not only stopped by to wish 3-year-old Russell a happy birthday, Driver Jose presented the young boy with some cool Republic Services swag, including a toy truck. “We love doing things like this for the residents of our communities, and this one was special for us as Russell is autistic. I also have an autistic son at home, much older at 21. Russell reminded me of my son so much at that age! He was all smiles and loved seeing the truck up close and meeting Jose the driver! It made their day and ours as well! It was such a heartwarming experience!” Anthony said.
