In Southern California, our Sun Valley team donated oak trees to the City of San Fernando to plant at a local park. This donation was made in celebration of Arbor Day held April 30, which encourages individuals to plant trees to help the environment. Throughout our partnership with the city, about a dozen trees have been donated for planting at local parks.
These trees were grown at Republic Services’ nursery at Sunshine Canyon Landfill in Sylmar.
