Summer Stride Step Challenge: Halfway There!

We understand, it’s hot out! But guess what? You still have time to earn your “Summer Stride” challenge rewards. Get the family, your significant other, or coworker, and walk your $25 today! Additionally, help your area take the title of Summer Stride Challenge winner. Currently, the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes areas are neck and neck. Who will come out on top and be our Summer Stride Champion?

The current leader board:

Mid-Atlantic Area with an average of 32.6 miles

Great Lakes Area with an average of 31.1 miles

Northeast Area with an average of 20.5 miles

Employees and their spouses who are enrolled in any Republic Services benefits plan and are enrolled with Rally are eligible to participate.

How to Register

If you’ve already signed up for Rally:

    1. Log on to myuhc.com, click on the “Visit Rally Health & Wellness” button and answer a couple of easy questions to get started
    2. Click on “Challenges” at the top of the page
    3. Select “Private Challenges”
    4. Enter the invite code: SummerStride22
    5. Join your local team and start walking!

If you haven’t signed up for Rally:

UnitedHealthcare Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses

Register with Rally and complete the Rally Health Survey by going to myuhc.com and clicking on the Visit Rally Health & Wellness tile. The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and provides a snapshot of your physical, financial and mental health

    1. Employees and spouses will earn a $25 e-gift card once they complete the challenge and take the survey.
    2. You can then register for the challenge using the instructions above

Kaiser Permanente Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses

    1. Visit werally.com/client/republic_services/register (employee and spouse)
    2. Select “Sign Up”
    3. Enter your email and choose a password, select “Next”
    4. Agree to the optional HIPAA Authorization
    5. Enter in your Employee ID. Spouses also enter in the Employee’s ID. Then enter in First Name, Last Name and DOB
    6. Protect your account through a 2-step verification process. Choose to receive a code via text message, call or email. Text message is recommended
    7. Enter in the unique code
    8. Choose Your Username and Avatar
    9. Complete the health survey
    10.  You can then register for the challenge using the instructions above

BCBS of Alabama Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses

    1. Visit werally.com/client/republic_services/register (employee and spouse)
    2. Select “Sign Up”
    3. Enter your email and choose a password, select “Next”
