On May 14, Seattle-area employees partnered with Food Lifeline to support food access for underserved communities.
Volunteers helped sort and repackage food, while celebrating the launch of Food Lifeline’s new Mobile Market Program, made possible by a $250,000 National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation.
The program’s new food distribution truck will deliver fresh groceries to neighborhoods where residents can’t easily reach a food bank.
