As we previously announced, Republic opened the Seattle region’s first and only recycling education center earlier this summer. The Center offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look into recycling technology and the process for recycling different materials.
Employee Carla J., Contract Administrator, recently led the first guided tour of the Learning Center and shared information about how recycling is collected and processed, and what materials are accepted. The tour concluded with a virtual view of the Republic Services recycling facility in Seattle. Way to go, Carla!
