BU 434 celebrated another successful Plastic Free July! Employees at the San Diego and Chula Vista hauling yards and container shop competed in a photo competition for the title of Plastic-Free July Champion. Employees received a calendar with daily Environmentally Responsible actions and were encouraged to snap a picture of themselves with their reusable water bottle. Congratulations to this year’s winners and thank you to all who participated!

We loved this competition so much that we are going to open it up to all employees in celebration of America Recycles Day on November 15! Stay tuned for more information and contest details in the coming weeks. The contest will run the month of November with lots of cool prizes, of course!
