In Phoenix, AZ, our corporate headquarters held an event to honor our many employees who are veterans and active service members and celebrate the launch of our new business resource group supporting veterans, V.A.L.O.R. The event was attended by nearly 600 employees and featured CEO Don S., as well as special guest United States Senator Martha McSally.

Charlotte CRC employees participated in a sitewide Veteran's Day thank you initiative. Members of leadership, support and CRC agents wrote personal and individual messages to veterans. Then, a couple of employees dropped them off at the local VA facility, meeting with veterans in various medical units and learning more about veteran programs offered.

Our team in Joplin, MO participated in their local Veterans Day parade. A banner on the front of the beautifully-detailed truck proudly displayed the names of the many veterans within the Galena/Bella Vista Business Unit. The float was created from a scrapped self-contained compactor by Ricky H., Maintenance Manager. It was retro-fitted into a parade float, equipped with LED lights, a working electric fireplace, and a large stereo system loudly playing patriotic favorites as they cruised down Main Street representing the star!
