It’s why we’re thrilled to introduce “Safe Together: Celebrating Zero,” a program created specifically to acknowledge the dedication of safety-sensitive employees. It offers safety-sensitive employees a more user-friendly experience, reward options, and gift cards.
We’re putting a greater spotlight on each employee who plays a crucial role in making Republic Services a safe environment for our customers and each other.
How it Works
Employees who meet our safety criteria will receive a commemorative certificate and points each quarter. These points can be redeemed to purchase items from the Safe Together: Celebrating Zero site. To qualify for recognition, employees must meet the following criteria for the entire quarter:
- No Preventable Crashes: Avoid preventable crashes involving Company-owned vehicles or equipment.
- Meet Absolutes and Standards: No formal corrective action related to safety, including violations of safety standards and regulations.
- Meet Time Requirements: Work at least 50% of the days in the quarter to earn recognition.
