The final Safe May focus is Reinforce Safe Behaviors. Take time to observe those around you. When you see someone doing the job safely—at work or at home—recognize it. Calling out safe actions helps ensure those behaviors continue.
As Safe May wraps up, we transition to 101 Days of Summer. All four Safe May focus areas—PPE, Pause to Assess, Drive Focused and Reinforce Safe Behaviors—carry forward into summer safety. In the coming weeks, look for tips on preventing heat illness, staying hydrated, heat acclimation, sunscreen and more. We’ll also kick off a summer photo contest and quiz for a chance to win prizes.
