Republic Services of Sacramento recently honored winners of a local student art contest themed, “Who Is Your Recycling Superhero?” Hundreds of entries were received, and 12 winners were selected! The winners’ artwork is featured in calendars mailed to 27,000 homes in Citrus Heights, CA.
Student winners and their families were invited to the City Council meeting this month where they were presented with a certificate from the Mayor and a Republic Services toy truck. The winners and their families were also invited to see one of our trucks up close. Thank you to Citrus Heights Ops Supervisor Josh L. and other team members for leading this creative community event and encouraging our next generation of recycling heroes!
