Sacramento Employees Revitalize Local Resident’s Home

A big thank you to volunteers for spending a recent Saturday revitalizing a resident’s home in Rancho Cordova, CA. Team members made some much-needed repairs to the house, including painting the home’s interior, landscaping the front and back yards, and repairing fencing around the property. This project was in partnership with Rebuilding Together Sacramento, a local nonprofit that that improves homes and communities. In the Sacramento area, over 8,000 homes and 98 community facilities have been improved since 1991.

The project was supported by a National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation.

“Republic Services has a long history of donating services, volunteering for rebuild projects, and providing other resources to our partners at Rebuilding Together to help provide safe homes and communities for everyone,” said Ray R., Municipal Administrator. This dedication to the community shows our Sacramento employees are Committed to Serve! Way to go, team!
