The Sacramento BU sponsored and volunteered in the Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Orangevale Big Day of Service on Saturday, May 17. The team of 15 Republic Services employees and their family members took the lead on a landscaping service project, replacing four planter boxes, weeding an entire garden, spreading mulch and compost, and installing a peace pole at a local Elementary school. This incredible one-day event mobilizes 1,000-plus community members to undertake more than 60 projects, bringing the community together to make a real impact. Way to go, team!
