On May 19 in Round Rock, Texas, the City of Round Rock opened a new 7,000-square-foot Republic Services Sustainability Pod at Play for All Park.
Made possible by a $250,000 National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, the Play for All Park is a special place for families and visitors. Kids of all abilities can play explore and connect.
Since 2012, the park has been a community destination built around inclusive play. The new Sustainability Pod adds to that mission. It helps kids and families learn about sustainability in a space made for everyone.
Republic Services team members also helped prepare the park. They supported light landscaping, mulching, painting, topped off playground flooring chips and final touch ups across the park.
