PRISM, our newest Business Resource Group (BRG) in support of the LGBTQ+ community is launching on June 14. PRISM stands for Pride, Raising Awareness, Involvement, Support, and Mentorship.
With PRISM, Republic hopes to connect, celebrate, and build a community with our LGBTQ+ employees and their supporters to make them more productive, successful, and feel a sense of belonging at Republic Services.
To get there, PRISM members will:
- Intentionally celebrate and cultivate Pride amongst PRISM members and the broader LGBTQ+ community by focusing on inclusion and creating a safe welcoming environment where employees can be their “authentic selves.”
- Raise Awareness and understanding of issues impacting LGBTQ+ employees.
- Promote Involvement while garnering Support and mutual respect across the Company.
- Create opportunities for business growth, professional development, networking, education, and Mentorship.
