As part of the National Neighborhood Promise program funded by the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, we are pleased to partner with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago to support local community organization Imagine Englewood if (IEi). Imagine Englewood if is the longest-serving nonprofit in Englewood, dedicated to creating safe and empowering spaces for youth in the Greater Englewood community. The nonprofit strengthens the Greater Englewood community by teaching local youth and their families positive communication skills, healthy living and environmental awareness.
Republic Services volunteers participated in a volunteer day that focused on repairs to The Healing House, The Jean Carter Hill Community Garden and The Peace Campus.

Over 60 volunteers, made up of employees, friends, and family members, came together to rehabilitate community spaces that the Englewood community will enjoy for years to come,” said Joe S., General Manager, Republic Services of Chicago.
