We were excited to welcome our pilot class to the Republic Services Technical Institute on July 12. The Technical Institute is the first-ever diesel technician training program in our industry and is located just outside Dallas.
As in everything we do, the training focuses on safety. In the photos you can see our trainees begin with daily stretches before each activity and are reviewing our SAFE Book in detail. They are also learning skills such as the proper hand signals to back a truck as a helper.
