On Sunday, December 1, Republic Services of Southern Nevada and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation hosted a car show and toy drive for kids and families in the community who are going through cancer. Attendees were encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy as their admission to the car show. Over 300 cars participated in the event, resulting in the distribution of more than 300 toys to families in need this holiday season.
“The turnout was beyond anything I could have imagined. The hundreds of lives that will be touched by the generosity of all who participated is incredible. It’s one of the most awesome events we have participated in,” said Steve O., Community Relations Manager.
