On July 25, Republic Services organized 21 hiring events as part of National Hire a Veteran Day. This day honors veterans and the skills they bring to the workforce and helps people understand the challenges veterans face when moving from the military to civilian jobs.
Our Talent Acquisition teams partnered with our V.A.L.O.R. Business Resource Group and worked hard to run these 21 job events across the country. The goal was to help veterans find good jobs with Republic Services. Together, they helped veterans with resumés, held interviews, enjoyed food and gave away prizes. Thank you to everyone who helped and to all the veterans who came. Your service inspires us!
