Our Huntington Beach BU is a valued community partner and has served meals with Bracken’s Kitchen on several occasions. In 2022, a National Neighborhood Promise® grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation provided Bracken’s Kitchen an opportunity to expand their outreach. In appreciation of Republic Services continued community partnership, we are featured on the Bracken’s Kitchen knife hall of fame appreciation wall (see photos)!
Bracken’s Kitchen is a non-profit that rescues editable food, provides culinary training, and delivers delicious and nourishing meals to those who are food insecure. “The meals being provided to the community are both creative and what top restaurants would serve. Many of the meals are served via their catering truck which makes for a fun and festive vibe,” said Dan C., General Manager.
