Republic Board Member Named to 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors List


Savoy magazine, the leading African American business, culture and lifestyle publication, recently announced its directory of 2021’s Most Influential Black Corporate Directors. Republic Board Member Tomago Collins was named to this directory, which is a prestigious listing of executives, influencers and achievers active on the boards of the world's leading corporations and organizations.

For the past eight years, Mr. Collins has served on Republic’s Board. He is the Chair of our Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Committee in addition to sitting on the Audit Committee.  He is a champion of ensuring Republic Services maintains a people-centered and inclusive culture, where individuals from all backgrounds can come to work and have the opportunity to achieve their aspirations and improve their communities.

Outside of his role on our Board, Mr. Collins is Executive Vice President, Communications and Business Development for Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. He serves as the senior strategic communications and public affairs executive for all Kroenke-owned sports, entertainment, real estate, ranch and vineyard properties, including Arsenal Football Club, the St. Louis Rams, Denver Nuggets, Altitude, the Outdoor Channel, World Fishing Network and the Pepsi Center. Previously, he was a journalist at the (Louisville) Courier-Journal and at CNN International. In addition to Republic’s Board, Mr. Collins sits on the boards of directors of Clear Secure, Inc. and the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He also serves as a board member for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. Mr. Collins is a graduate of Yale University.
