What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with a recycled gingerbread house? Wait…what?
That’s right! Our team in Missoula, Montana showcased Sustainability in Action by constructing a 6’ tall gingerbread house using:
- 6 sheets of corrugated cardboard
- 38 snack boxes
- 104 paper plates
- 16 plastic bottles
- 160 bottle caps
- 63 cans
Republic Services’ recycled gingerbread house is on display at the Southgate Mall in Missoula and includes interactive “trashy trivia” questions and signage that shows what holiday items can and cannot be recycled! There’s no question that this team will be on Santa’s “Nice” List!
