As part of the National Neighborhood Promise program funded by the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, we are pleased to partner with Rebuilding Together Philadelphia and Impact Services to support the Hope in the Heart of Kensington project.
Impact Services is focused on advancing equity in the Kensington neighborhood and across Philadelphia by assisting with re-entry, improving pathways for career development, increasing affordable housing and investing in community development.
This grant is funding the installation of an energy-efficient HVAC system and is helping to create a community gym and greenspace for children and veterans in the area. This project will also rehabilitate seven homes owned by vulnerable seniors in the area.
