During Safe May, we recognize the people and resources that strengthen our Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety (EHS) culture—like our Radiation Safety & Compliance (RAD) Team, which supports operations across the entire organization.
The RAD Team provides practical guidance on waste acceptance, environmental monitoring and the safe handling of materials like smoke detectors, exit signs and naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM). They also support sites with training, audits, compliance requirements and real-time guidance when issues arise.
By working closely with teams in the field, the RAD Team helps reduce risk and ensure safety and compliance are part of how we operate every day.
