On April 17, Republic Services marked a major milestone in advancing sustainability with the grand reopening of its cutting-edge recycling facility in Anaheim, California.
After a fire destroyed the previous recycling facility three years ago, the all-new Anaheim Recycling Center has been completely retrofitted with state-of-the-art technology and AI sorting capabilities to maximize the recovery of material for recycling.
As one of Republic’s largest and most advanced facilities, the Anaheim Recycling Center serves 26 communities – including more than 400,000 homes, processing 185,000 tons of recyclable material each year.
With 75 recycling facilities across North America, Republic Services continues to lead the industry in creating innovative recycling and circularity solutions, highlighting our commitment to building a more sustainable future for the communities we proudly serve.
