Richmond Office Benefits from Teenager’s 3D Printer

At home – and at work – keeping track of the remote control can be a daily frustration. At the Golden Bear Transfer Station in Richmond, CA, Supervisor John M. and his teenage son, JC, came up with a great solution. JC volunteered to design and create a remote holder on his new 3D printer. He did a great job, and once installed, the remote has never been lost.

“Even for the somewhat little things, it can take a team effort to create a better work environment. We are so pleased to see John including his son as part of our extended Republic family,” said General Manager Rob S.
