On Wednesday, February 11, over 30 team members from Phoenix HQ, local Business Units and Business Resource Groups united for our National Neighborhood Promise event at UMOM New Day Centers, a leading provider of shelter, housing and services for people experiencing homelessness in Phoenix.
Volunteers cleaned the campus, sorted donated clothing, organized inventory and restocked shelves to ensure families had easy access to essentials. The team also guided children in planting activities, facilitated Valentine’s Day family events and hosted a Touch-a-Truck experience.
UMOM New Day Center was a proud recipient of a $225,000 National Neighborhood Promise Grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation. All these activities support UMOM’s mission to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness restore hope and rebuild their lives.
