During the first week of June, Republic Services’ Grand View, ID hazardous waste facility converted all site operations to the EQAI information system. Grand View is the first Business Unit to adopt EQAI as part of the wave five migration.
In preparation for this conversion, the project team evaluated nearly 8,000 active AESOP waste profiles and identified nearly 2,000 high-priority profiles which had to be re-created and validated in EQAI waste management prior to the June 3 go-live date.
“Thanks to the hard work and diligent effort by all involved, the effort was a resounding success! Special thanks go to Grand View Operations and Customer Support, Pacific Area Approvals and Strategic Sourcing, Pacific Area Customer Service, Group 3 Operations Support, the EQAI software development team, and the Corporate Integration team,” said Matt Henry, Area President – Pacific.
Wave five migrations will continue through the second half of 2025, with the conversion to EQAI scheduled to take place at the remaining Group 3 Business Units.
