Throughout the month of September, we celebrate your support of the charitable organizations that mean the most to you. This year we’re placing a special emphasis on the charitable organization that is unique to Republic Services and exclusively supports our employees – the Employee Relief Fund.
The Employee Relief Fund is all about employees helping employees. This month, or at any point throughout the year, you can donate to the Employee Relief Fund to help provide assistance to your coworkers during times of need. The program is fully funded by contributions from employees and helps our colleagues who have been impacted by a natural disaster such as a storm, fire, tornado, earthquake or hurricane like recent Hurricane Ida.
When a fellow employee is affected by a natural disaster like Hurricane Ida, you may want to help. The Employee Relief Fund is the easiest way to make a difference for fellow employees when they need it most.
Throughout the month we’ll be sharing some of the ways the Employee Relief Fund has helped our employees since it was first started in 2005. To make a tax-deductible donation, visit the Employee Giving Portal or Workday! Everyone who participates in the program between September 1 – 24 will have a chance to win Company Store swag, with winners announced September 29! Visit the portal, create a profile and give any amount to your favorite charitable organization to be eligible.
