This week, Republic Services published the annual Sustainability Report that highlights our company’s sustainability initiatives and tracks progress toward our 2030 goals.
The report includes several environmental and social metrics that highlight our vision to partner with customers and stakeholders to create a more sustainable world. Additionally, this year, it includes the company’s first Climate Transition Road Map, which outlines a path to achieving our greenhouse gas reduction goal.
“Republic Services’ long-term sustainability goals are designed to deliver both economic and environmental sustainability while meeting the needs of our customers,” said CEO Jon Vander Ark. “We continue to accelerate progress toward our Climate Leadership goals, with strategic initiatives underway to advance circularity, reduce fleet emissions and decarbonize operations.”
