Oracle Maintenance – Building a More Connected Enterprise

With the deployment of Oracle Maintenance, we are not just updating our Enterprise Asset Management system but also empowering our employees with a user-friendly interface and an interconnected data model. This transition is part of our digital transformation strategy, which brings major benefits to the company while streamlining user processes. Oracle Maintenance users will find the right information at their fingertips, all while significantly reducing current administrative burdens. This is a step towards a more connected and efficient enterprise.

The Core Systems Modernization program is our multi-year journey to update our processes and technology through interconnected Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Order-to-Cash, and RISE systems. This seamless data exchange improves asset reliability, safety, customer service, and our ability to better connect with our customers, suppliers, and people.

Through Oracle Maintenance, users will see:

  • Digital Work Orders – no more paper. Through this effort, our 3,500-plus technicians will convert to digital work orders and use tablets to document repairs.
  • Significantly improved inventory management process with data that improves ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
  • A Planning & Scheduling tool that helps supervisors quickly build work assignments.
  • A fully Digital VCR process that connects RISE with Oracle Maintenance.
  • Warranty and Workforce Management tools to help with tracking and productivity.

Oracle Maintenance deployment will kick off at selected divisions in the Heartland and Southwest Areas starting in July. Beginning in October, it will be deployed Area by Area. For a schedule, visit the Core Systems Modernization SharePoint site. Finally, Oracle Maintenance supports our integrated growth strategy by allowing us to add new assets and lines of business.
