Open Enrollment is Days Away[/av_textblock] [av_textblock size='18' font_color='' color='' av-medium-font-size='' av-small-font-size='' av-mini-font-size='' admin_preview_bg=''] Benefits enrollment will begin in just a couple of weeks with Wave 1 starting January 22. Before you enroll, it’s important to understand any changes that are impacting your benefits. While you will be able to read more in your benefits newsletter at home, we’re here to break down some of the top benefits changes for 2018-2019. Let’s get started!
Medical Plan Updates – We work closely with our benefits partners to put together plans that keep coverage as affordable as possible for every employee on our plan. But with the healthcare costs skyrocketing across the country, we will see increases to a few of our plans. Deductibles for the Build-Your-Own Medical Plan (BYOMP) and local HMO Medical Plans will see slight increases and one of the BYOMP will also have an increase in the out-of-pocket maximum.
New Coverage – As medical coverage evolves, new items are added to our plans. This year, we are adding Infertility Treatment Coverage and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Infertility Treatment – Will now be covered with a lifetime medical maximum of $15,000 and a prescription medication lifetime maximum of $5,000.
- Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA therapy for autism spectrum disorders will now be covered. The new behavior therapy focuses on improving socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree in order to improve daily life functions.
Wellness Updates – Your Total Rewards are not just about getting well when you need medical care. It’s about staying well. This year, we are introducing a new and improved Wellness Incentive and a new fitness discount program called Active & Fit Direct. By revamping our wellness incentive and providing you with the tools you need, we are committed to helping you meet your wellness goals.
