A community cleanup along Highway 35 in San Mateo County, CA, resulted in the collection of three trailers worth of trash. A crew of approximately 30 adults and kids gathered on a recent Saturday to pick up the roadside trash, including discarded mattresses, tires, furniture, bottles and cans. Thanks to our local Republic Services team in Daly City for assisting with this effort with a donation of safety vests, gloves, face masks and garbage bags for the volunteers. The team also helped out with a pass to dump the collected material for free at our Ox Mountain Landfill.
