A. 3 years
Q. Can you share a little more on your personal connection or passion for Special Olympics?
A. My brother is a Special Olympics athlete. My parents got him involved with the organization when he was a child. After my parents passed away, I became the conservator for my brother and followed my parents’ wishes and Tyrone’s as well, of keeping him very active with Special Olympics. I became a coach and it has been very rewarding to not only coach my brother, but other athletes as well. Last year, my brother was 1 of 6 athletes from Southern California selected to represent the United States at the Special Olympics World Games in Dubai & Abu Dhabi.
Q. What is something people may not know about you?
A. In addition to being a Special Olympics Coach, I’m also the President of my HOA and have been for 12 years.
Q. Tell us about some of your hobbies or interests?
A. I enjoy traveling, vacationing anywhere there is water, going to plays and watching movies.

A. … I’m well rested.

A. I’m very proud to work for Republic Services. It has afforded me the opportunity to learn a new industry, be promoted within 2 years, be a part of 3 BRGs (Black Employee Network, Women of Republic and V.A.L.O.R) and work with some amazing folks! I look forward to continuing my development and growth with the Company.
