Q. How long have you been with Republic?
A. 4 years
Q. Can you share a little more on your personal connection or passion for the Steve Smith Family Foundation?
A. I support several charities, but the Steve Smith Family Foundation has a special meaning because of my grandmother. Every Saturday morning, my parents would let me volunteer with my grandmother. At the time, I thought I was just playing with other children – what I didn’t know was I was providing a distraction to individuals who were impacted by domestic violence. When my grandmother passed, my family has made it a point to continue her mission to serve. So, for me, a charity where one of its main pillars is domestic violence awareness and prevention immediately shot up to the top of my list. I’ve also developed a great relationship with Steve Smith Sr. and the executive team of the charity.

Q. Anything else you would like to share?
A. The Charlotte CRC and our engagement team have been amazing in allowing me to assist with leading charity/community service events! In 2019, we supported our local food bank, VA hospital and our local National Neighborhood Promise Day. Once we are back to being able to serve our community as a collective group, we will do so!
