By now, most of us are familiar with Microsoft Teams – a secure platform for holding virtual meetings, sharing files and collaborating on documents.
Starting this week, we’re extending Teams’ capabilities with the introduction of a new app, called Who! Who is designed to help you find information about employees without leaving Teams. For example, let’s say you’re having a conversation with Nancy in Finance and need a list of everyone who reports to Nancy, or someone unfamiliar starts a conversation and you want to find out who they are and what they're working on. With Who, you can search for anyone at Republic based on what they're working on, who they work with, and more.
Before you can start interacting with Who you have to click “Allow” when you open the app for the first time. The app will then message you saying Thanks! You’re ready to start chatting. If you are stuck at any time you can type What Can I do?
Look for the new Who app this week and give it a go! It will show up on the left side of your Teams home page. |
