National Pizza Month Mythbuster

To capitalize on this month-long celebration of America’s most beloved comfort food, our External Relations Team executed a creative campaign to educate pizza lovers on how to recycle pizza boxes properly.The key message of the campaign is that greasy pizza boxes are not 100% recyclable. To spread the word, they hand-delivered pizzas with a fact sheet (see below) to popular media outlets in New York City and select local markets.
