Through the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, we are proud to support Habitat for Humanity and their revitalization efforts in the South Evergreen Neighborhood in Southfield, MI. Republic Services volunteers participated in Habitat Oakland’s Rock the Block program on October 3, reaching over 30 families and the greater community. Volunteers, while careful to take safety precautions due to COVID-19, worked with homeowners and Habitat’s construction staff to clean gutters, build a wooden fence, pour cement, build out residential decks, and clear brush in the area.
