General Manager John B., HR Manager Onyia A., and Manager Municipal Sales Steve S. recently met with local National Neighborhood Promise® Grant recipient, Lafayette Habitat for Humanity in partnership with 100 Black Men of America. “We toured where the new mentoring center will be constructed and saw some homes under construction and completed. It was great to see their progress,” Steve said.
The project, funded by the National Neighborhood Promise grant, will provide a space where neighborhood youth can safely access resources like mentoring programs, afterschool tutoring, financial literacy courses, Cub Scouts, and health and wellness programs.
