On May 17, employees from our Detroit team joined more than 50 volunteers for a Neighborhood Beautification Day in the West Willow community.
The volunteer event, organized with Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, was part of a National Neighborhood Promise grant to improve West Willow Park with ADA-accessible parking and a new youth basketball court.
Volunteers weeded flower beds, cleaned storm drains, organized the Tool Lending Library (a project previously built by Republic Services) and set up garden beds at the new Odindi Youth Action Village.
