Municipal Sales Manager Gary S. recently presented at the inaugural NJ Sustainability in Motion Conference held in Atlantic City. Republic Services was a proud Diamond Level sponsor of the event, bringing together more than 350 attendees from municipal offices, non-profits, businesses and more to discuss how local communities can work together on recycling, litter abatement and materials management, just to name a few. The success of the event was complemented by having all of our New Jersey GMs, Area personnel and Muni Managers from Pennsylvania and Massachusetts attend the conference.
Not only did Gary kick off the conference, he was nominated and elected as the next President of the Association of NJ Recyclers! “This provides Republic Services with a strong voice regarding environmental, recycling, solid waste, and Sustainability initiatives,” Gary said. “Great job to the New Jersey team for representing Republic Services at this amazing conference!”
