A resident wrote a note to the Cabarrus County Environmental Manager to express gratitude to Drivers Jose G. and Thomas D. for their smiles, waves and honks that delight his son. The little boy loves when Republic Services trucks pick up the trash and recycling, always running out to greet the drivers. The boy recently sent a letter to the drivers thanking them for their service and in return, the drivers surprised him with a Republic hat and toy truck. The boy was over the moon about the gifts (you can see his smile in the photo!) Way to go, team!
