July 25 has been recognized as National Hire a Veteran Day since 2017. This day highlights the valuable skills, experience and dedication veterans bring to the workplace, as well as the unique challenges they face in transitioning to civilian careers.
In support of this day, Republic Services is hosting its first national Veteran hiring event. Led by our Area Talent Acquisition Managers and supported by our V.A.L.O.R. Business Resource Group Area Ambassadors, we will conduct 29 job hiring events nationwide on Thursday, July 25. While events vary by location, most will feature free resume workshops, on-the-spot interviews, food and giveaways.
