Join Healthy Holidays Step Challenge!

Did you overdo it this Thanksgiving? Have you been enjoying too many holiday treats? If so, we have the perfect remedy to walk off those extra calories.

Starting today through December 16, you and your Area can take charge of your well-being with our Healthy Holidays Step Challenge.

Register for this 12-day challenge and take steps toward a healthier holiday season. Walking is a great way to manage stress, maintain a healthy weight and increase energy levels.

Employees and their spouses who are enrolled in any Republic Services benefits plan and are enrolled with Rally are eligible to participate. Once you achieve the one-mile step goal, you are eligible to earn a $25 e-gift card.

 

*Please note: This challenge is available to those who are currently enrolled in a Republic Services benefit plan ending on December 31, 2022.

How to Register 

If you’ve already signed up for Rally:

  1. Log on to myuhc.com, click on the “Visit Rally Health & Wellness” button, and answer a couple of easy questions to get started
  2. Click on “Challenges” at the top of the page
  3. Select “Private Challenges”
  4. Enter the invite code: HealthyHolidays22
  5. Join your local team and start walking!

If you’ve haven’t signed up for Rally:

UnitedHealthcare Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses 

Register with Rally and complete the Rally Health Survey by going to myuhc.com and clicking on the Visit Rally Health & Wellness tile. The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and provides a snapshot of your physical, financial, and mental health

  1. You will earn a $25 e-gift card once it’s done! You have until March 31, 2023, to complete the survey (both employees and spouses)
  2. You can then register for the challenge using the instructions above
Kaiser Permanente Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses  
  1. Visit werally.com/client/republic_services/register (employee and spouse)
  2. Select “Sign Up”
  3. Enter your email and choose a password, select “Next”
  4. Agree to the optional HIPAA Authorization
  5. Enter your Employee ID. Spouses also enter the Employee’s ID. Then enter in First Name, Last Name, and DOB
  6. Protect your account through a 2-step verification process. Choose to receive a code via text message, call, or email. A text message is recommended
  7. Enter the unique code
  8. Choose Your Username and Avatar
  9. Complete the health survey
  10. You can then register for the challenge using the instructions above
BCBS of Alabama Medical Plan Participants: Employees and spouses  
  1. Visit werally.com/client/republic_services/register (employee and spouse)
  2. Select “Sign Up”
  3. Enter your email and choose a password, select “Next”
